Human Resources Intern - Spring 2018

Hanapin Marketing is looking for a curious Human Resources Intern to join our Talent and Culture Team! This is a hands-on learning experience where you will get the opportunity to understand what it’s like to work in a dynamic HR Department in a fast-paced agency setting. You will work directly with our Director of HR and Senior HR Coordinator to learn about HR and recruitment best practices!


As our Human Resources Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain an understanding of HR best practices with regards to full cycle recruiting, talent management, benefits, and compensation
  • Collaborate on 2-3 Talent and Culture initiatives pertaining to our internship program, culture, work environment, or training
  • Assist in recruitment marketing initiatives with regards to social media content and videos/testimonials


Internship requirements and work experience we expect you to have:

  • Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week on-site at our Bloomington, IN office Monday – Friday between 8am – 5pm
  • Some college required with a preference for Juniors or Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR
  • Previous office experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Interest and excitement about learning more about HR and recruitment marketing
  • Organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proven self-starter who is eager to pursue new challenges independently or collaborate with a team
  • Possess a professional attitude with a high attention to detail
  • Resourceful, lifelong learner who thrives in challenging situations
  • BONUS: previous experience working with HTML/CSS, video, and/or social media platforms

This internship is unpaid, but we are happy to help you receive college credit in accordance with the required guidelines of your particular college or university. We are currently hiring for Spring 2018 interns.
