Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a process oriented Human Resources (HR) Coordinator of Benefits and Policy Administration to join our Talent, Culture, Administration, and Finance Team! As our HR Coordinator of Benefits and Policies, you will act as the primary resource for our team and own all benefit and policy management. You will help set-up efficient processes to support our growing company and ensure successful benefit enrollment and consistent policy execution.

Here’s what you can expect to do as our HR Coordinator, Benefits and Policy Administration:

  • Benefits Enrollment: Responsible for annual benefit enrollment for 60+ employees including research, negotiation, and maintenance of scalable, pro-employee, and cost-effective benefit offerings
  • Ongoing Benefits Management: Maintain employee benefit database and process documents, liaise with benefits administrator, and act as a benefit resource for team
  • Policy Administration and Management: Complete regular employee handbook updates, answer questions about policies and policy execution, analyze impact of policy decisions, communicate policy updates, and ensure proper policy training and accessibility of information
  • Employee Relations: Coordinate and assist with COBRA management, disability paperwork, FMLA process/documentation, unemployment claims, and worker's compensation claims/injury documentation

 

This is what we’re looking for in qualified candidates:

  • Ready to relocate without assistance or already living near Bloomington, IN
  • Minimum 1 year of previous professional experience
  • Previous experience creating, implementing, and documenting detailed processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in 1-on-1 and group settings
  • Process and customer service orientation who communicates procedures, answers questions, and solves problems with a smile
  • Eager to pursue new challenges independently or collaborate with a team
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Resourceful, lifelong learner who has excellent time management and organization skills to consistently hit deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in HR
